You sit in solitude and thoughts come crashing through the veins in your head. Too quick to digest them all but bursts of impressions flash like sparks behind your eyes. You’re left breathless. The ground stretches beneath you as you stare helplessly. It’s consuming you and holding you still. You can’t run. You can’t hide. So you ride that wave hoping you see the calm soon. Drenched in emotions, a mixture so unfamiliar, you shut your eyes and that’s where it all begins.
